Hotel reviews for Gecko Villa

We heard about this place from friends and having visited their site made a booking online. A useful tip they gave us was to fly Nok Air from Bangkok to Udon: half the price (about GBP30 return); and the same planes!

When we arrived at the property with the Owner who had collected us we thought we were truly in the middle of nowhere....and very clearly off the beaten tourist trails.

An excellent stay! From the spacious house that was all ours, set in acres and acres of land, to our own swimming pool, to the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts who made our stay a truly unique and memorable one.... Delicious food too and we can even cook it ourselves now.

Highly recommended for honeymooners, families, couples etc and people wanting to avoid the toursit traps and experience the real Thailand. We will be back!
