Hotel reviews for Hotel Korona

To be brief the Hotel Korona was best for being its cleaniless, moderness and the pool and cheapness of drinks avaliable at the hotel bar. On the other hand, the staff spoke limited English, the food wasnt always excellent - although we did find this was across all the hotels even those that are 5 star from the people we spoke with whilst on holiday. The safe is 65 levs for a fortnight. The hotel is well situated, around 5 mins from the beach which was lovely and 15/20 mins from the centre of sunny beach. We found the hotel to be good, the hotel globus is where all the entertainment was such as bingo, quizs and bar crawls and so on. We would reccommend to book the off road adventure and blue mountains trip as both we thought were excellent. The blue mountains one you get to take a chair lift from the top to the bottom of the mountain. The off road adventure is a very bumpy jeep ride across a forest and then you get to go quad biking, archery, shooting and horse riding in a village also. Both have lunch included. Theres plenty to do in sunny beach itself as it is commericalised. We also enjoyed going shopping in Bourgas and visiting Nessebar. We didnt think much of the plane journey to sunny beach with Balkan as provided with stale sandwich and one member of staff we saw being quite rude to a customer. On the way back it was improved in terms of service, but sandwich was the same. Also the bedding at the hotels sometimes had stains on which was a bit annoying when had to use extra bedding from the wardrobe. Overall we enjoyed the Hotel Korona and sunny beach, but there are some improvements mainly the food (in general for Bulgaria); and also the communications with staff if they could speak more English it would help considerably.
