Holiday reviews for Limassol

We are just so happy with everything, we were recommended by a friend. We have already booked with them for next year. The staff were amazing.

Sunsmile Apartments were great. The staff cant do enough for you and the facilities in the apartments are great too. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment which was very spacious. Room decor was good with wooden or tiled flooring throughout. Kitchen had everything we needed. Pool area is fine too.
Unfortunatley not impressed with Limassol will never go back it is really just Blackpool with sunshine. Beach is rubbish and Limassol is just so large certainly not a resort for a relaxing holiday. Also if you are looking for a little bit of Cypriot life dont go here...far too 'British' for my liking. Food is very much hit and miss and the locals involved in the tourism industry are the rudist i have ever met.
If we went back to Cyprus would stay in Ayia Napa or Protaros.
Olympic and the rep were great and would travel with them again.
Finally, went on the 1 day trip to Cairo by air....was fab if you get the chance go as you see the pyramids,Sphinx,papyrus factory,cairo museum and also have a cruise on the Nile. Very tiring but well worth it although we would now not want to go back to Egypt. Great to experience it however the constant pestering you get from the locals does spoil it(what bit of 'no i dont want to buy it'); do they not understand!
So overall apartments fab would definately go back to them if they were somewhere else pity they are in Blackpool.....oops Limassol!
