Hotel reviews for Maria Studios

We stayed here in September 2005 and it was fantastic! So much so that we didnt want to leave. The studios were part of a building of 4 studios, the owners using one next door to ours only at the weekends. We had a huge balcony facing the sea with super sunsets. The studio itself was very good, clean and spacious. Enough kitchen equipment to cook a meal which we didnt actually do as the restaurants nearby were superb. The studios was a 2 min (if that); walk to the beach down a little sandy track and there you were. The way to the resort was along the beach on the boards which we called the "wall of death" as some were broken, so a torch is a good idea. The only drawback was that it was near the famous Pink Palace hostel and occasional all night parties were heard which did stop after our owner complained, but otherwise it wasnt a problem. All in all the resort is fabulous, very quiet and friendly, the beach and sea is great and the people were lovely.We couldnt rate it high enough, they are privately owned and are used by Manos only in their second edition brochure so it is not easy to book up unless you come across it by accident. Fantastic holiday!!!
