Hotel reviews for Sofia

The Sofia Hotel was well situated just off the main road but only 2 minutes walk from the long and uncrowded sand and shingle beach. The rooms were basic but adequate although the bathroom constantly got flooded and took ages to drain. The breakfast was different everyday although you had no choice. A small swimming pool with free sun beds but no cushions available. A wonderful pool side bar also open in the evenings which was a nice place to socialise. The one annoying factor was the owners had an obsession with cats who roamed everywhere and if you do not like cats you would not enjoy it here. Kambos is very much a chill out resort with a good selection of tavernas. Nick the Greeks Fish Taverna and Angelos were the pick of the bunch. Not suitable for the young and single as no night life the resort closes down at midnight which suited us. It is all about peace and quiet.The resort is ideal for couples.
