Hotel reviews for Hotel RIU Seabank

The Seabank Hotel is situated in the resort of Mellieha Bay which has the best beach on the island and is away ftom the hussle and bustle of some of the bigger and more commercialised resorts. The hotel rooms were clean and are a good size. There is a large outdoor pool with sunbeds and a small indoor pool. We were on B&B and found the breakfasts to be excellent. On the neagative side the bar was extremely small and crowded and the band that played 3 nights a week were very poor.
Opposite the hotel is a bus stop with a regular service to Valletta, Bugibba and the ferry port for the Island of Gozo. We found Mellieha Bay to be an ideal base for what was primarly a sightseeing hotel. The war rooms in Valletta were very interesting as was the boat trip around the harbour. Medina and the Island of Gozo were well worth a visit. we did not like Bugibba which we thought was tacky and touristy full of English bars.Malta is full of History and we found it immensly interesting.
