Holiday reviews for Aguilas

My husband and I stayed in Los Collados Golf in June 2008 and were very impressed with the quality of the complex and the amazing views from our apartment which had a large roof terrace. The area is very varied with everything you need to make a memorable holiday. The beaches are clean, safe and very beautiful. There are excellent restaurants where you will eat real spanish food of the highest quality without the matching price tag.Definitely no lager louts here!! Hope to visit again in the winter months.

The apartments in Los Collados Resort, Aguilas (on the road between Aguilas and Calabardina); are brand new, well equipped and all have communal pools. They are mostly let by a small English owned company, Palm Properties Aguilas SL,(www.palm-properties,net); whose office is on site. Clint and Simone are great hosts and will point you in the right direction for any activities that will make your holiday one to remember. They also run an on-site bar/cafe - great food and company with SKY TV too! so we can keep up with the latest soaps and also catch the World Cup matches this summer. We had a great holiday and are booked to return this year. Aguilas is a very traditionally Spanish area, the people are lovely and the beaches are out of this world (no parking attendants either!);. Eating out is good and cheap and all in all it adds up to a holiday that doesnt break the bank. Give it a try!
