My family, self/wife / daughter (15); and son (12); spent a fortnight at the above from 24th August to 7th August on an All Inclusive Basis cost of ?3,500 plus 3 day Self Drive Car Hire.

Have no worries with food, maid service or general staff attitudes - if you speak basic Spanish for Please, Thank you etc., you will get by and the Staff appreciate it..

My concerns relate to the Apartments which seem like glorified Hi de Hi Chalets and ours had to sleep 4 persons - my son and I had to sleep on the sofa and pull out bed underneath the sofa in the living room whilst my wife and daughter had the one bedroom which had two separate beds.

There is no Air Conditioning in the Apartments and so we had one fan on for all the fortnight in the bedroom and we males sweltered in the living room with just the bathroom window open at night to allow for some air flow.

The whole complex is generally geared towards couples with young children of maximum age of 10 - my wife said it seemed like a Butlins Camp lifted straight out of the UK and dumped in Fuerteventura ...if you like being surroundered by your fellow Brit, all well and good, but for me, with the odd exception the rest seemed totally ignorant and boorish..

The Bar ostensibly closed at 2345 but there is no security on site to ensure that revellers return to Apartments promptly and so we were treated to songs from drunks on the merits and virtues of London vis-a-vis Liverpool on several occasions at 0130 etc.,

You will receive a wake up call most mornings circa 0730 as the site is on the flight path from the Airport to Gran Canaria and the first flight of the day is at that time ...the planes are that low you can read the registration numbers I kid you not.

If I was lucky to win say ?250K on the Lottery I would certainly consider buying my own Apartment or property on Fuerteventura as the weather and island etc., is excellent - 4 hours flight time to UK - but considering what we spent for 3 Adults and 1 Child for a fortnight in July / August I cannot in good faith recommend the Apartments as being good value for money and will NOT be returning to this venue...

All inclusive holiday and Amerilla proved to be very good indeed. The food was very good with plenty of choice.
Our rooms were very clean and so was the pool area.

They tried a lot with the entertainment but it was a little cheesey, not that this was a bad thing though we al enjoyed it.

We hired a car and travelled around the resort and fuond it very nice. Everyone was friendly and the views were great.

The whole family enjoyed this holiday and we plan to go again.

    Good holiday.

Went all inclusive and enjoyed the food and drink. the rooms were kept nice and clean wit fresh towels each day.

We found the reps very helpful and friendly. The pools were also kept very clean and plenty of sun loungers to go around. Beach was very close only about 5 minute walk away.

I've seen a few bad reports about the Amerilla Apartments but we honestly had a great time so don't let them put you off.
