Holiday reviews for Pinta Mujeres

We arrived at the airport to be greeted by the owner, collected and taken direct to the apartment. The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment was immaculate, tastefully decorated with everything we needed. Right outside the door was the pool and a hot spa. The roof terrace offered fabulous sea and mountain views.
This was our first visit to the North of the Island, and staying in a traditional Canarian village felt like the real Lanzarote away from all the touristy bits. The village has plenty mini markets and one larger supermarket, a cafe and some good restaurants. Right at the bottom of the street is a delightful restaurant, "Las Tres Lunas" right next to the sea. There are delightful natural sea swimming pools near to the house, safe for swimming for the children. The nearest sandy beach is around a kilometer away, in the village of Arrieta, and as there were bicycles provided at the house, we cycled there a couple of times. We did hire a car for a couple of days and visited the Mirador Del Rio, the Cactus Garden and Jameous del Agua, which are all in the north of the Island and crossed over to the beautiful unspoilt Island of La Graciosa. The ferry departs from the village of Orzola, about a 10 minute drive from Punta Mujeres. There are no man made roads on the Island, just sandy roads and beaches, little white washed houses, plenty seafood restaurants and great walks to explore the Island.
We would highly recommend the apartment, location and area as this was a truely restful and ideal holiday to see some of the more unspoilt and none touristic parts of Lanzarote. We will definately be booking again.
