Hotel reviews for Bluebay Lanzarote

after 2 weeks at this place i honestly cannot understand why it gets such high reviews and ratings.
quite simply it has a dangerous pool in one day the kids in the pool on our second week found around 40 broken pool tiles leaving sharp edges on the floor of the pool in small missing patches. Over the 2 weeks we witnessed around 8 children get a cut foot in different areas of the main pool. my own child cut her foot in the first week and on our last day so we gave up got dressed and went out for the day.outside pool toilets had skid marks wiped on the wall for whole 2 weeks stay even after informing them about it. rank

The food was the same and bland pork pork pork and far toooo much Pork. pool bar serves lunch same old rubbish everyday hotdogs burgers cold chips and salad food is served inside but its almost the same as dinner.

entertainment is very poor the inhouse team lack the skills to perform any form of show the outside shows and entertainment is ok but some we have seen before 8 yrs ago.

All drinks are served in small childrens sized glasses and its almost self serve unless u want a pre mixed cocktail or spirit. they do offer free cocktails first 6 on a list of about 10 are free. your choice is limited you either go to the show type sweat box bar and watch the rubbish entertainment or you go to the inside piano bar which is mainly adult. you can sit at the outside pool bar but its closed even for self serve soft drinks and largers. tell the nearest bar your drinkning outside and your get a small plastic cup for your cocktail. nice not.

any complaint is answered with a free bottle of plonk you can get free from the tacky bingo which include other great prizes as a toilet roll and a plastic medal.

more than one other set of guests we spoke to at the pool had to be moved rooms due to human waste from the drains flooding the shower in the rooms. the more we spoke to people it seemed others were having a rough time as we were my 2 childre 7 and 3 lived on cold chips and toast for 2 weeks others were sick from the chilli on mexican night which was the same a s spanish night and the other nights.

i wouldnt bother pay a bit more and go with a better hotel or do a week that way u only have to put up with it for 7 days and your say its great when u come home.
