    Hi
I stayed with my boyfriend at Club Aida for 1 week 17June-25th june.
This was our second time to Marmaris but our first to Club Aida, we arrived late as wasnt on a great flight time with Thomson. The hotel receptionst was great, really fast check in as could see we were tired, told us quickly a few things that we needed to know and then our room key was given! we had a great room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool.
It was quite nosiy at the pool from around 10-1030, the entertainers would be on the mic and the kids, music could be heard! but we didnt mind it was quite fun and we could sleep through it.
The hotel is right by the Aqua Dream waterpark. its just up the hill quite easy to walk to but pushchairs and that may struggle! the waterpark is ok its expensive for what is there, the food and drinks are not cheap. We had a good day there but the weather wasnt great so we didnt stay as long as we would of liked to. I see some people have put about people taking pictures, we had no problem there was a photographer there but we took our own pictures.
The hotel is great, the pool is lovely and big, lots ofd sunloungers, yes we did find people would put there towell on them and go out for the day but we still always got one! the poolside has a seperate kids pool and slide, we adults and enjoyed the slide like many others!! i didnt find the floor slippery at all!? as some reviews have said. We only ate at the restaurant once, it was lovely and for a hotel i thought was pretty reasonable! just we like to go to different restaurants. The staff can not go out of there way to help, so friendly, knowledgable to- we needed to get some buses as taxis are expensive! the receptionist told us all the information we needed.
The hotel is situated not to far from the beach, about a 10-15 min walk, its so nice down there i am not a beach fan but all the bars, restaurants are fab.We found a lovely restaurant called Faros and went to that twice, would of gone more but only found it near to the end of the holiday. There is a lot of competition with the restaurants but all seem to be about the same price, glasses of wine were about 7-8 TLire,, main meals were anything from 9-25 Tlire. I reccomend to least go and walk and see the bars and restaurants by the beach as worth just to try something different, some do hassle but others dont!!
The main marina area / bar steet is quite a walk we did it once or twice but its at least 30-45 mins! we used to get the bus which picked us up right outside the hotel, it was 2 lire each and took us right near the marina/ bar street! the busses run all day till about 1am in the morning! the marina is a lot more expensive but the fish, steaks and restaurants are wonderful. Bar street is quite crazy, we are 25 yrs old and didnt feel out of place i would say a real mixture of ages, holiday makers and locals were out. There are some great nightclubs and bars but drinks are pretty much the same price as the UK, we did manage to get some bogof vouchers so made it a bit cheaper.
We had such a fab time in Marmaris and would come back again and again, i would also stay at Club Aida as its just great for everyone.
