We have stayed in the Pineta Club for 3 of the last 4 summers. Try telling that to another guest and they can't believe it. This hotel is not liked by many of the people who stay here. I'm not sure what they expected or what they paid but they often seemed disappointed. Comments like "not enough English food" makes me wonder what people look for in a holiday - like home but sunnier? Well this is not like home but it's a bit like a hot Butlins, with food and drink thrown in and it's cheaper than a UK holiday. You will be left wanting in certain areas - evening entertainment, food choices, politeness of some staff (and some guests) and room quality. However, if you just want to sit by a pool (there are 3) without a cloud in the sky, ever, than this a nice enough place to do that. I took my sons aged 7 & 10 and they ran around by day and night within the complex and it's walled gardens and made many friends and really enjoyed their stay. I was happy enough drinking the local beer all day, which at 3% and ice cold hit the spot without me hitting the floor. We had enough money left for a few local excursions and meals out which were fantastic fun. If you are really fussy don't bother with the Pineta, but if you can do cheap and cheerful, this could be right up your street
