I?ve taken the time to come onto this website to post this comment which demonstrates how desperate I am to get this review out to everyone who plans on staying at this cottage. Seriously, if you want to waste money you'll be better off throwing it in the bin then staying at this place. 1st - the cottages stinks both the wooden one and the Victorian 1, I had 1st hand experience with the wooden 1! 2nd - breakfast wasn?t provided as stated. 3rd - forget hospitality 4th - the entire cottage looks like crap, the photos were definitely DECEPTIVE. 5th - the shower head is covered in green algae/fungus/mould! (NO JOKE);. I wasted ALOT OF MONEY THERE, regretting every single second. The one thing to learn is to leave once you stepped in and feel uncomfortable, forget about being polite and trying to tell yourself things will get better by the day once you adjust because it doesn?t AND DO NOT HAND OUT MONEY UNTIL YOU GIVE YOURSELF 15 MINUTES TO LOOK AROUND THE PLACE. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, GO AHEAD AND SEE HOW YOU'LL LIKE IT, I CAN BASICALLY SWEAR THAT IT WAS THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE, AWFULLY REGRETTABLE VACATION EXPERIENCE I CAN IMAGINE. My partner and I basically was too afraid to sleep on their doona so we covered it with our own, the place has a strong wood odour, very unbearable, unclean and the surroundings was terrible, you can see the owner's home and the other cottage from where your at. NOT SECLUDED, NOT ROMANTIC WHEN YOU GOT RIPPED FLY SCREENS, MOTEL BED AND LINEN AND MOULD RIDDEN SHOWER HEAD. There is a spa bath, but the whole vibe and energy to the place is one that puts you off. The cottage is right behind the road, there's nothing to do there, no trials no nice creeks or ponds, just totally unromantic, unadventurous... it just sucks. I am not another accommodation place trying to sabotage, when i was at the cottage I could have sworn i wished i had the net to save others from this misery. Its a shame that there are some dirty people out there who would try to sell you something so disgusting and unappealing like this just to make money without any regard or care for those who just wants to have a good time. I'm just happy that i got this off my chest and hopefully you would learn a thing or two about my experience and please do not take your partner there, the whole sense of being uncomfortable could turn your intented romantic vacation to something you will complain/winge about to your significant other throughout AND after the stay - NOT VERY ROMANTIC.
